Somerset House, Stanley Kubrick, The Shining

Description

An exhibition of art inspired by the master film maker.

A floor vinyl installation at Somerset House by Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin, replicating the looks of the floor from a set in the Stanley Kubrick masterpiece, ‘The Shining’. The total floor coverage was 180 square metres. That’s a lot of coverage. Then we went to have some fun because “all work and no play makes jack a dull boy”.
